Today, the last remaining match of the fourth stage was played, between Botoșani and FCSB.
The guests started clearly with the first chance, Botoșani being one of the teams at the bottom of the ranking. However, the match was played in special conditions: the pitch was in poor condition due to heavy snow before the match, which created the conditions for a surprise result.
Although those from FCSB also hit the crossbar, in the end Botoșani could hit in a few rows, but Botosani hit in overtime for 1-0. This result leaves FCSB at 24 points, below Dinamo and Craiova, the three teams occupying the 4th, 5th and 6th places. CFR and Petrolul have 26 points each, and U Cluj remains the sole leader, with 30 points.
