Benjamin Netanyahu targeted by an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court

The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, November 21, for war crimes and crimes against humanity. His former Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, is also targeted by this ICC sanction.

The Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip, the ICC announced Thursday, November 21, 2024.

She rejected appeals filed by Israel rejecting the jurisdiction of the ICC.

A Hamas leader also targeted by a warrant

The pre-trial chamber also issued an arrest warrant against Palestinian Hamas leader Mohammed Deif for war crimes and crimes against humanity allegedly committed in Israel and the Gaza Strip, said the statement cited by theAgence Press.
