Working on the famous game show between 1992 and 2016 before being dismissed at the same time as presenter Julien Lepers, William Pinville died of a heart attack, reports BFMTV, Thursday November 21.

He will have left his mark on one of the most famous PAF televised games. As reported by BFMTV, Thursday November 21, William Pinville, who was the voice-over for “Questions for a Champion” for nearly 25 years, between 1992 and 2016, died. During the multitude of shows in which he participated, William Pinville was responsible for introducing the candidates, announcing the amount of the prize pool and even listing the list of gifts.

According to information from media journalist Clément Garin, William Pinville died of a heart attack on Tuesday, November 19. After many years of good and loyal service to “Questions pour un champion”, he was ousted from the show in 2016, at the same time as the historic host Julien Lepers, giving way to a new team led by Samuel Etienne and a female voice-over, Clotilde Donna.

A voice lent to advertisements and audiobooks

On April 1, 2015, viewers of “Questions for a Champion” were able to put a face to the voice-over of the game, when Julien Lepers briefly left him in charge of the show. Voice actor and radio host, William Pinville has also lent his voice to audio books and commercials during his career.
