Continuation and end of these qualifications for the next African Cup of Nations. Already qualified in Group G, Ivory Coast and Zambia made a point of finishing well. The Elephants largely dominated Chad 4-0 with a goal from Rémois Emmanuel Agbadou. At the same time, Zambia won in Sierra Leone 2-0. In Group H, the defeat of the Democratic Republic of Congo at home against Ethiopia (2-1) has no impact on the outcome. Sébastien Desabre's men were already qualified and assured of finishing first.

There wasn't much suspense either in Group I where Mali had already validated their ticket to Morocco. The Eagles still largely beat the unfortunate Eswantini 6-0 with a hat-trick from Dorgeles Nene of Red Bull Salzburg. Mozambique, winner in Guinea-Bissau 2-1, obtains the last ticket and therefore finishes 2nd. Finally in group K everything was also played. South Africa did not make any details against South Sudan with a 3-0 success and finished at the top of its group, ahead of Uganda, who beat Congo at home 1-0.
