It’s a quiet start to what will be an active week. A slow-moving system out of the Southern Plains will bring widespread soaking rain overnight through tomorrow. Pockets of moderate intensities could be possible. Rainfall amounts will range from half an inch to an inch. It will also be windy, as the main area of low-pressure tracks is east of the U.P. tomorrow. Winds will be out of the southeast with 10-25mph speeds and gusts of 35-45mph. Gusts will weaken by the evening. Then, wrap-around moisture will bring some and rain snow mix Wednesday into Thursday with light accumulations of 1-3″ possible on grass surfaces.
