Now it can become the first Italian to win the ATP Finals: «It is certainly a great emotion for me to play here. Last year I lost in the final, but now we will try to do better. Regardless of the result of the final, it was a week full of emotions and beautiful moments: thank you all, it means a lot to me. I'm just trying to give 100% every day, I can't control the result. I'm trying to exploit the energy of the public, then this sport is unpredictable. In the semi-final the match could have been complicated, I could have suffered a break and the match could have changed. Instead, I was good at staying there mentally. Then I managed to raise the level and I'm happy like that”, Sinner's words at the end of the semi-final.
