La Mirambelle is an integral reserve, a vast natural park which serves as a laboratory space for specialists who analyze how nature lives and evolves without humans. This reserve, forbidden to humans, is, basically, naturally protected, because it is difficult to access; even Alex and Angelo have never been there. However, it is in the heart of this protected paradise that we find one morning the body of the young guardian of the reserve, his skull fractured; he lived alone and isolated in a small refuge on the edge of a high-altitude lake in the protected area.
