Netflix seems to be the loser of hyped boxing camp after streaming problems: “Netflix is fighting”
Was the hype too much? Netflix dealt with streaming problems during the boxing camp between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Much to the frustration of many viewers worldwide. The Belgian boxer Victor Schelstraete, among others, had set his alarm for nothing.
With the boxing camp between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, streaming platform Netflix broadcast its biggest live event ever, but that was not without problems.
Netflix, with more than 280 million subscribers, was already struggling with delayed images, technical glitches and people who could not even watch at all before the camp.
The website Downdetector.com, which tracks disruptions, reported more than 12,000 incidents at Netflix during the boxing event.
Complaints poured in on social media. “The only fight I get to see is the fight from Netflix to broadcast the boxing camp,” it said, among other things.
Since Netflix also has plans to broadcast the American football competition NFL, questions are being raised about the streaming problems, especially in the United States.
