As you have noticed, the air has noticeably cooled down over the last few days in the Burgundian region. Scarves and big coats are out to face the cold of late autumn. The almost winter temperatures make us fear the appearance of the first snows.
Anticyclonic conditions are well established in the country, indicates Météo France. In the region, the sky is rather cloudy over the north of Burgundy and brighter elsewhere. Maximum temperatures of up to 11 and 12°C can be expected.
High humidity and heavy gray weather are expected in the evening and night from Thursday to Friday.
On Friday, you can expect a lot of gray weather with fog on the heights of Morvan. In Burgundy-Franche-Comté, only the Jura should benefit from the sun above 500/600 meters of altitude.
If there is no risk of frost in the plains, the mercury could drop to -5°C in the Jura relief. In the rest of the region, temperatures will range from 3 to 9°C.
Should we hope to see the first snowflakes this weekend? “Not immediately, indicates Olivier Guenard, forecaster at Météo France Grand-Est, but after the weekend, we will find more disturbed conditions with possible negative values”.
“The anticyclonic situation begins to weaken tomorrow, but could resume at the beginning of next week”explains Olivier Guenard.
