On Monday, November 11, a homeless man of Moldovan origin was found around 10 a.m. lying on the ground in downtown Lyon, near the Perrache station, according to information from France 3. A concrete block was found near his body.
Another 37-year-old homeless man was seriously injured by the same procedure in Rotterdam. The scene was filmed by video surveillance cameras. The victim is between life and death, indicates the Dutch newspaper The Telegraph. The suspect is also wanted for murders in Évry, Dijon (July 25, 2024) and Strasbourg (October 31, 2024).
Wanted in France and abroad
The man revealed his identity during his arrest in Toulon. His name would be Levis E. and he would be of Cameroonian nationality, born in January 1992, according to our colleagues at Parisian. He was arrested after committing violence to the shoulder and shin on a woman on the train from Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône).
He would also be the subject of an OQTF, issued in July 2024 by the Côte-d'Or prefecture after shoplifting, and of an arrest warrant for attempted homicide issued by the judicial court of 'Évry (Essonne). The court opened a judicial investigation on November 12, 2024 against him, after the violent attack on the SDF on the station square.
