TRANSPORTS – Notice to those who would like to remake the Tanned people go skiing2025 edition. To avoid finding yourself without a ticket or with a hefty bill at the last minute for your winter destination, be ready this Wednesday, November 13: the SNCF is opening Intercités and TGV Inoui for reservations for the period from January 9 to March 30, 2025, which includes winter vacation.
From this Wednesday, you can book your tickets for anywhere in France until March 30, and even until July 4 for Ouigo journeys. If you want to go internationally, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, England are yours by Eurostar, until May 17, 2025. The TGV Lyria and TGV Inoui to Spain can also be booked until May 17, 2025. 'to July 4.
New this year, on certain high-speed line destinations, SNCF is experimenting with reservations up to 6 months before the departure date. These are the busy Paris-Lyon, Paris-Marseille, Paris-Montpellier, Paris-Toulon, Paris-Nice, Paris-Hyères and Paris-Perpignan routes. You can therefore, here too, book as early as possible until July 4, 2025.
As a reminder, the winter 2025 school holidays extend from February 22 to March 10 for zone A, from February 8 to 24 for zone B and from February 15 to March 3 for zone C.
A reinforced offer to ski resorts
If you want to reach the snowy peaks (or not), good news, the SNCF is strengthening its offer for these destinations. During the winter holidays, “the TGV fleet is fully mobilized to respond to this busy period”said the railway company in a press release. For example, a direct and daily round trip is planned between Paris and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, in Savoie, from December 19, 2024 to March 30, 2025.
In its press release, SNCF also announced the opening of the Paris-Berlin high-speed line from December 16. The two capitals will be connected in around 8 hours, thanks to a line also serving Strasbourg, Karlsruhe and Frankfurt.
