You will certainly be able to raise the thermostat of your radiators if you live in Oise. And even bring out your sweaters and down jackets, because winter will remember us fondly.
Affected by a drop of cold from Germany, the thermometer will drop significantly until the end of the week over a large part of the country.
“It will arrive from the Netherlands during the day then cross France on Tuesday. Before the arrival of another cold drop on Wednesday and Thursday,” explains the meteorologist and founder of Météo-Villes, Guillaume Séchet, to actu.fr.
If we are not talking about ice or even snow yet, the Oise will shiver more significantly than usual, after a month of October described as mild and the start of November in the same vein.
Minimums between 5 and 6°C tomorrow morning
Tomorrow Wednesday November 13, 2024the minimums will be between 5 and 6°C and the maximums will oscillate between 7 and 9°C. Add on top of all this a little chilly wind that can blow up to 50 km/h, and you will have all the ingredients to be able to talk about good cold snap.
Thursday and Friday, the maximums in the afternoon will return slightly above seasonal norms (between 9 and 11°C), but the lull will be short-lived.
Saturday will be the coldest day of the week
The night from Friday November 15 to Saturday November 16 promises to be the coldest of all.
In places, early morning temperatures will be close to zerobefore sunrise pushes the thermometer back into the positive. We barely wait 3 °C in the Clermontoisthe Compiégnois and the Noyonnaiset 2 °C only in the area of Mareuil-sur-Ourcqon the border with Aisne. A situation likely to be revised downwards, the confidence index being very low for this day (2/5 according to Météo France). In the afternoon it will be between 7 and 9°C.
On Sunday, the mercury will start to rise again (10-11°C). A day which will also mark the return of rain in the department.
