Manchester United defeats Leicester City 3-0
Manchester United achieved an important victory over its guest, Leicester City, with a score of 3-0, in the matches of the 11th round of the English Premier League.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the 17th minute, before Viktor Christiansen added an own goal in the 38th minute, and Alejandro Garnacho completed the hat-trick in the 82nd minute.
With this victory, Manchester United raised its score to 15 points, climbing to thirteenth place, while Leicester City’s score froze at 10 points in fifteenth place.
It is noteworthy that Manchester United regained its winning streak in the league after defeating Greek club PAOK Salonika with a double in the European League.
Ipswich snatches its first win in the Premier League against Tottenham
The Ipswich Town team succeeded in achieving its first victory in the English Premier League this season, after defeating its host Tottenham Hotspur with a score of 2-1 in the 11th stage matches.
Ipswich’s goals were scored by Samuel Szmodics in the 31st minute and Liam Delap in the 43rd minute, while Rodrigo Bentacur scored Tottenham’s only goal in the 69th minute.
With this victory, Ipswich raised its score to 8 points, leaving last place and occupying seventeenth place, while Tottenham’s score remained at 16 points in tenth place, after suffering its fifth loss in the current season.
Newcastle turns the tables on Nottingham with a hat-trick
Newcastle United defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1, ending Nottingham’s winning streak in the English Premier League.
Murillo scored the lead goal for Nottingham in the 21st minute, but Newcastle came back strong in the second half, as Alexander Isak scored the equalizer in the 54th minute, then Joelinton added the second goal in the 72nd minute, before Harvey Barnes concluded the scoring with a third goal in the 83rd minute.
Nottingham’s score froze at 19 points in third place, while Newcastle’s score rose to 15 points to rise to eighth place after achieving its fifth win this season.
