After disappearing on Monday, Naël was found safe and sound on Friday November 8. A call for witnesses had been launched.
It's a story with a happy ending. Naël De Boerio, a 13-year-old teenager, had been missing since Monday November 4. He was last seen on rue de la Croix d'Yonville, in Rouen, two days later, explains BFMTV. It was in the capital of the Normandy region that the boy was found on Friday November 8.
A call for witnesses was launched on Friday during the day by the Seine Maritime national police. Naël was finally found in the evening, safe and in “good health”, announced the institution on the social network X. “Thank you to all the people who contributed to the search”, added the police in their post .
A previous disappearance alert launched in August
The reasons for his disappearance have not been specified. Did the child run away? Living in Canteleu, he could have walked to Rouen – a journey of about an hour. This theory could be correct. Indeed, in August, Naël had already run away for several days. A call for witnesses was also launched in the middle of the month to find him, which was done a few days later. The reasons behind this escape, however, were not specified.
