Death of a spectator on the sidelines of Bayern Munich-Benfica in the Champions League

Bayern is in mourning. On the sidelines of the 1-0 victory against Benfica, the German club learned with sadness of the death of a spectator present in the stands. From the start of the match, the latter underwent emergency medical intervention in the south-east sector of the Allianz Arena for a good half hour. The rescuers resuscitated him several times before transporting him, under life support, to hospital, the club explained to the German press agency SID, a subsidiary of AFP. The victim died on the way to hospital, Bayern announced in a statement overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.
