The Toronto Raptors season-long five-game road trip continues when they take on the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center.
The last time these two teams met was on Nov. 2 when the Raptors beat the Kings in an entertaining contest 131-128 in overtime. RJ Barrett led the way with 31 points and Gradey Dick had 22 points.
The Raptors nearly started their road trip with a win against the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 4. They pushed the Nuggets to the limit and lost 121-119 when Barrett’s game-winning three-point shot attempt rimmed out.
The Raptors have dealt with a lot of injuries to this point but they have thrived offensively. Toronto has averaged 119.4 points per game which is fourth in the NBA and rank sixth in pace factor at 101.0. This should be another high-scoring affair against the Kings.
The Kings rank fifth in offensive rating (116.0), 11th in defensive rating (111.1) and sixth in net rating (4.8). The Kings are coming off a 111-110 road win against the Miami Heat.
The Raptors will once again be without Scottie Barnes (eye), Kelly Olynyk (back) and Bruce Brown (knee). Meanwhile, Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) is doubtful and it seems like Toronto’s lead guard will miss his eighth straight game.
Meanwhile for the Kings, Kevin Huerter (illness) is questionable.
