Around ten firefighters had to be mobilized this Sunday, November 3, 2024 after a road accident on the A21 motorway, at Loos-en-Gohelle (Pas-de-Calais). A young driver was seriously injured. Explanations.
Serious accident on the A21 this Sunday evening
The events took place around 8 p.m. on the A21 in the Aix-Noulette – Douai direction. The firefighters intervened to “ a traffic accident involving a light vehicle with high kinetics“, specifies the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis).
Traffic was completely stopped on the motorway access ramp to allow emergency services to extricate the victim, a young woman aged 26. The driver was medically transported to the Lens hospital center. His vital prognosis is in jeopardy. The CRS, DIR and SANEF were at the scene of the intervention.
