Singer Slimane, targeted by a complaint for sexual harassment, rewarded at the NRJ Music Awards

The 35-year-old artist, who represented France at Eurovision, won the “French-speaking male artist of the year” prize on Friday evening.

My daughter, when you grow up, I really hope you will be proud of your dad.” The singer, who represented France in May during the Eurovision song contestfinishing in fourth place, is targeted by a complaint for sexual harassment, filed Monday with the Saint-Etienne public prosecutor's office (Loire).

According to a source close to the matter, this complaint was filed by one of the artist's former technicians. He denounces facts which allegedly took place on December 17, 2023, after a Slimane concert at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne, then on the night of December 17 to 18. This man accuses the singer in particular of having pinned him against a wall, then of having asked him for sex. After refusing, the technician said he received several dozen messages of a sexual nature during the night from Slimane. The technician then notified the company that employed him, which decided to withdraw its technicians from the singer's tour.
