Mohammed VI once again raised questions by appearing emaciated and leaning on a cane during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron. In recent years, the Moroccan monarch has been particularly notable for his absence, his appetite for partying and his special relationship with three MMA fighters who have managed to establish themselves in his entourage. Terrified at the idea of losing their influence, the king's collaborators did everything to try to remove these “intruders” with the profile of thugs. Meanwhile, the country is still struggling to develop and the people are suffering from the extravagances of the court.
In 2018, the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, in power since 1999, divorced his wife, Lalla Salma. The event was not experienced as a tragedy by the palace since from this union an heir was born, in 2003: Moulay el-Hassan. At that time, the princess had already been absent from official ceremonies for a year. Now single, the monarch will then find strange companions, three MMA fighters: Abu Bakr, Omar and Ottman Azaitar.

“The Azaitar brothers filled a void in the king’s life,” slips a former senior diplomat. At the palace, we observe from afar these German MMA fighters of Moroccan origin taking photos with the king during competitions organized in Germany. THE cellar – the Moroccan power – thinks that they are only a temporary distraction, just like the rap stars with whom the king likes to pose. But Abu Bakr, Omar and Ottman will gradually come to settle within the palace itself. A relative of the king recounts: “Everyone felt tainted by these newcomers with long criminal records. In no time, they had captured the ear and access of the king.”
