This Monday evening, at 7:00 p.m., French navigator Charlie Dalin (Macif) was still leading the Vendée Globe fleet, not far from Cape Finisterre.

Charlie Dalin remains leader, the day after the big departure from the coast of Les Sables d'Olonne. This Monday evening, at the 7:00 p.m. check-in, the Macif Santé Prévoyance navigator, the big favorite, was still leading the fleet in the 10th edition of the Vendée Globe. During the night from Monday to Tuesday, the Frenchman should pass Cape Finisterre in Spain. During this last score, Dalin was approximately 21 nautical miles ahead of another Frenchman, in the person of Sébastien Simon (Groupe Dubreuil)while third position is currently occupied by the British Sam Goodchild (Vulnerable). Winner in 2021, Frenchman Yannick Bestaven (Maître Coq V) occupies fourth place. For his part, Paul Meilhat (Biotherm), who had the best start this Sunday, now finds himself in fifteenth position, just ahead of Clarisse Crémer (L'Occitane).

Wind is forecast at Cape Finisterre
