Since October 18, Prime Video viewers can discover the series Worshipwhich goes behind the scenes of the creation of Loft Story, the very first French reality TV. A true television phenomenon at the time, the show revealed Loana to the general public, who was the big winner of the first season, in 2001. To play her on screen, director Louis Farge chose Marie Colomb. A tailor-made role for the actress who looks exactly like the reality TV star. But what does Loana think of the one who plays her on screen and especially of the program which highlights her story? Pour Here isshe agreed to break the silence and confide with an open hearteven if she admits not having watched the series yet but “seen extracts on TV“. A few images that were enough to upset her.

“It makes me weirdconfides Loana. To see someone who looks like you, with your life… I’m not going to say that I’m a fan. I cried the first time I saw this. I see myself again, I have images in my head of what I experienced. I said to myself : ‘It doesn’t matter’. But when I first saw the trailer, I didn’t think it would have this effect on me“. While she assures that the production did not reveal the episodes to her before the broadcast, she also reveals that she was never a consultant on the series and was content to sell the rights to her books, without have a say in the project.They never asked me : ‘Are we doing that?'”, she assures. And adds: “I haven’t even met the actress who looks like me. I discovered it in the trailer“.
“Honored“to be the subject of such a project, Loana still has difficulty realizing: “I knew it, I was paid for it but it’s a period of your life and all of a sudden, you see an actress and she makes a mess (laughs). It’s too faithful by the way (laughs). You have the same face, you do the same stupid things that you would like to erase. When I was in the pool, I didn’t expect Alexia to be on a scooter. I can now see the back, the people with the cameras. At the time I was so not concerned about all that but there was a machine! I didn’t know it was like that“.
Loana reveals what she thinks of Marie Colomb, the interpreter of her character
Concerning Marie Colomb who slipped into her skin for the small screen, Loana is very cash. “I hate her but I think she represents me well, it’s difficult. She looks a lot like me, it’s really true (laughs). It’s my double!“, she says, while confiding that she “would like to meet her“, even if she “doesn’t really want to“to watch the series.”It looks pretty accurate but then you say to yourself: ‘I shouldn’t have’. Make the pool…“, she regrets. Loana also explains having “a little hesitant“before agreeing to sell the rights to his books:”Afterwards, I told myself that we shouldn’t leave this in a cupboard“. A little piece of his story is now left to viewers who will be able to experience or relive his adventures in Loft Story.
