4H of Portimão H+3: COOL Racing remains at the forefront

After a particularly eventful first half of the race near Portimão, the third hour of the ELMS final saw some great battles, and consolidated leadership for the crew of the No. 37 COOL Racing car (Jakobsen/Miyata/ Fluxa). The three young guns lead the way ahead of No. 14 from AO by TF, who would take the title if things remained as they were. A neutralization for the exit of the United no. 21, hit by the Aston Martin no. 59, at the very end of the third hour, promises us fireworks for the last quarter of the race!

The two Inter Europol Competition machines are currently in third and fourth place, the no. 34, hit on the first lap, ahead of the no. 43, which is in contention for the title. Third contender, the No. 65 Panis Racing is in sixth place, now with Charles Milesi behind the wheel.

It is in the LMGT3 category that the suspense is even greater, since the Iron Dames are currently leading the way ahead of the #63 Lamborghini Iron Lynx. The latter would make an important move in the championship standings, given that the Kessel Racing Ferrari, leading the championship, is in eighth place. The #59 of Racing Spirit of Léman has been involved in numerous incidents and is ninth, and it could therefore be the #86 Ferrari of GR Racing, currently sixth, which would pull the chestnuts out of the fire! Unless the Iron Dames hold on until the end and win a surprise title, they who were seventh before this final round… Answer(s) in less than an hour!
