Next Friday, November 8, an event show will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Paris: Delon, the last samurai. It will be a very special symphonic film concert in the presence of Anthony Delon and Vincent Lindon. The show will compile twenty cult films with Alain Delon and therefore twenty music performed by 80 musicians on stage and sung by Daniel Guichard and Didier Barbelivien.

Until I started working with TF1 to Grand Hotel (his mini-series with Carole Bouquet in 2020, editor’s note), where, there, he called me regularly to give me advice or to tell me that he was in front of the TV watching me. Last year, we had time to tell each other everything and I’m very happy about it. Very grateful“, revealed Alain-Fabien Delon, all smiles. Indeed, during the last years of his life, Alain Delon had the opportunity to make up for lost time and share precious moments with his children, in particular by diving back with nostalgia in the films in which he acted: “He would turn on the DVDs for us, he would say: ‘You watch this film’, and he would come back from time to time: ‘ah yes, I remember this scene’. And we often watched them last year, because Arte broadcast them a lot. And since he spent a lot of time in front of his TV, he really liked watching his old films“.
