In recent hours, many pages have circulated the news that actor Mohamed Al-Khalfi was urgently transferred to the hospital, due to the deterioration of his health condition. However, sources denied to the newspaper what had been promoted, and stressed that they were merely “rumors.”

She reported that the visit of actor Mohamed Al-Khalfi to the hospital comes within the framework of routine examinations on his foot, which he has suffered from a severe injury for years, causing him to lose the ability to walk, as a result of diabetes.

She confirmed that the actor is currently at his home in Casablanca, and is in a stable health condition and is not suffering from any complications, contrary to what has been circulated on a number of pages.

Actor Mohammed Al-Khalfi lives alone in his house after illness confined him to bed and kept him from acting, as his diabetes affected his leg and made him unable to walk.

Muhammad Al-Khalafy spoke earlier to “Madar 21” newspaper about his health condition. After he lost the ability to walk, and his “difficult” living conditions after moving away from acting and missing the family he was deprived of due to infertility, he stressed, however, that he was satisfied with “the script.”

Al-Khali said that he lives alone, and does not have children or a wife to take care of him, as he settles alone in his home,” he continued, “but, on the contrary, I am satisfied with what God has divided for me, and I am happy as if nothing had happened, which made me reach the age of 86 with my sight and health. This comes from the fact that I do not envy, do not hate, or know evil, and my relationship is good with the artists, and even whoever offends me, I forgive him.”

The distinguished artist revealed that his diabetes affected his leg, made him bedridden, and prevented him from practicing theatre.

The star, Mohamed Al-Khalfi, bemoaned the television channels’ abandonment of the pioneering artists and their marginalization, whom we no longer see in any artistic works, despite their long and rewarding path.

Al-Khalfi criticized the new generation of artists’ search for imaginary fame and spread in exchange for working for low wages, surprising that some of them enter the artistic field without training in the field, as he believes that appearing on television is the last stop for the actor.

He expressed his dissatisfaction with what was broadcast on television during the Ramadan season, and said, “The series shown in Ramadan contain good and bad, something from nothing. Oh God, fill the television with these series instead of it becoming empty.”
