Hurricane Kirk hits Seine-et-. The City of Coulommiers is therefore placed on orange alert for rain and flooding from this Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at noon. A meteorological situation which risks worsening the situation on soils already saturated by recent rains.

“In order to prevent any danger for residents, the City of Coulommiers has activated its Municipal Protection Plan (PCS). As a result, the Parc des Capucins as well as the Parc des Sports will be closed from 12 p.m. this Wednesday, October 9,” ​​warns the municipality.

According to Météo , precipitation will continue throughout the day.
