The French Tennis Federation has filed a complaint after a burglary at the Roland-Garros stadium, AFP learned from the FFT on Sunday, confirming information from BFMTV. A break-in took place during the night from Thursday to Friday, in various offices at the stadium and brand products, including bracelets, were stolen, the governing body of French tennis explained to AFP, which also manages the Parisian enclosure.
“An investigation is underway, we have filed a complaint,” the Federation further indicated, without however confirming the amounts (around 30,000 euros in total) put forward by the news channel. Located in the prestigious sixteenth arrondissement of Paris, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, Roland-Garros hosts the French Open tennis tournament every year, won fourteen times by the Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
