UFC Fight Night in Paris: Benoît St-Denis in search of redemption

Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night will be held in and is sure to be special for Benoît St-Denis, Nassourdine Imavov and Kevin Jousset, who will all have the opportunity to battle it out at home in front of their French fans.

For St-Denis, his clash against Renato Moicano (the final of the evening) will represent a great opportunity to bounce back after a knockout setback. suffered last March at the expense of Dustin Poirier.

“This defeat taught me that you should not underestimate anyone. You always have to arrive at 100% in the Octagon,” the pugilist recently told our journalist Anthony Martineau.

You can watch this interview in the main video.

Nassourdine Imavov will have Brendan Allen, who defeated Chris Curtis in April, in front of him. To say that the French fighter is confident is an understatement.

“Allen is good, overall. He is very effective on the ground. But he’s not in my category. I can’t wait to remind him of that.”

As for Kevin Jousset, still undefeated in two fights in the UFC, humility and recognition are two adjectives that translate his words very well. He will face Bryan Battle.

“I am very excited about this new challenge. Seeing the UFC offering me more and more talented fighters makes me proud and motivates me. I find Battle to be very vocal in his interviews. He seems confident. Good for him, but I personally prefer to express myself during the fight!”

A total of nine French fighters will perform during the evening.
