Three days before hosting PSG in the Champions League, Arsenal suffered but triumphed over Leicester on Saturday (4-2).
If the PSG goalkeeper achieves the same performance next Tuesday as that of Mads Hermansen on Saturday on the Arsenal pitch, the Parisian club will not be far from a very good result on London soil for the 2nd day of the League champions.
Unfortunately for Leicester’s Danish goalkeeper, his numerous saves, such as that on a header from Calafiori (87th), could not save the Foxes from a defeat at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the 6th day of the Premier League.
At the level of Manchester City
Arsenal won 4-2 with a certain success, at the end of the match, thanks to a csc from Ndidi (90th + 4) and a goal from Havertz put into play by a pass from an opponent (90th + 8).
In the standings, and before Liverpool’s performance on the Wolverhampton field, the Gunners have as many points (14) as Manchester City, in first place in the standings. A little earlier, the Cityzens had obtained a draw at Newcastle (1-1).
