In the complaint, Mob Entertainment argues that Google has a responsibility to remove infringing contentespecially after receiving specific requests. Although Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 was removed on December 9, it quickly reappeared on the store. This scheme has generated frustration among the developer, who believes that Google should be considered equally culpable alongside the creators of the fraudulent games, since it keeps a percentage of the profits generated by downloads.
The Company not only seeks economic compensation for violations of its copyright and trademark, but also a court injunction prohibiting Google and Daigo Game 2020 Inc. from repeating this type of infringement in the future.
