Lars Steiner completed a double at 18:37 in the third period and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies had the last word 6-5 over the Moncton Wildcats on Saturday.

The Huskies earned their fourth straight win, while the Wildcats’ winning streak ended at nine.

The outcome brought joy to the 2,712 fans at the Glencore Arena.

Bill Zonnon and Rémi Gélinas also scored twice each for the winners.

Zonnon also collected three assists.

St. Louis Blues prospect Juraj Pekarcik scored a hat trick in a losing cause.

After Gélinas’ second goal, Vincent Collard scored and Markus Vidicek leveled the score 5-5.

Steiner, however, responded 1:01 later, guiding his team to victory.

Jonathan Fauchon scored a 30th goal and the Océanic beat the Titan, 6-2.

Acadie-Bathurst lost for a fourth time in a row.

Drummondville 2 Cape Breton 5

Jacob Newcombe reached the 20-goal mark and the Eagles defeated the Voltigeurs, 5-2

Joseph Henneberry provided a goal and three points for the winning side.

Saint John 4 Halifax 3 (P)

Tyler Peddle scored at 4:20 in overtime and the Sea Dogs defeated the Mooseheads, 4-3.

Olivier Groulx scored a hat trick for the Sea Dogs, who ended a series of five losses.

The Mooseheads dropped a seventh game in a row.
