In recent weeks, a particularly intriguing rumor about a new Lenovo console has been circulating online. It mentioned a machine running SteamOS, namely Valve's operating system, notably integrated into the Steam Deck. Fortunately, at CES, this Lenovo Legion Go S was finally made official!
Lenovo formalizes three models of Lenovo Legion Go S

Thanks to coverage by several media, including The Verge, we learned that the Lenovo Legion Go S will be available in three versions: two under Windows 11 and another under SteamOS.
The SteamOS version, which will be available during the month of May, will therefore offer an experience similar to the Steam Deck, at least from a software point of view, while the machine will benefit from a 55 Wh battery, with a screen 8 inches, a resolution of 1920 x 1200, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. You'll have to pay $499.99 to get your hands on it, but we still have to know the price here.
As for Windows versions, the first will be released during the month of January, for $729.99. It will be differentiated by its 32 GB of RAM. The other version, with 16 GB, will be available during the month of May, for €599.99.
All these machines will feature the new AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, which is also exclusive to Lenovo. Also, it has been confirmed that Lenovo is the only manufacturer Valve is working with to integrate SteamOS.
Please note that unlike the base model of the Lenovo Legion Go, it is not possible to detach the controllers like a Nintendo Switch with the Lenovo Legion Go S.
