The 5 most anticipated Apple products for 2025

The whole world has barely drawn a line under 2024 when it is already time to take an interest in the news that will be that of Apple for the next twelve months. And for good reason, the firm has several projects on the way, including 5 highly anticipated products.

iPhone 17 Air

This is a bit of a big surprise in recent years. As if by magic, the idea of an iPhone 17 Air appeared overnight, and ultimately would not seem to come from nowhere. Like the iPad Air which are considered the thinnest tablets in the world, the iPhone 17 Air should follow this same logic. We would thus have the thinnest iPhone in history, with an estimated thickness of… 5mm. The skinniest iPhone to date is the iPhone 16, at 6.9mm.

The overall design shouldn’t be much different from current iPhones. On the other hand, it is in its design that the iPhone 17 Air would make headlines. We are talking about much finer components and a battery, which would also have an impact on performance, which is therefore less advanced. The “good surprise” would be the price, since we would be around €1,119 for the iPhone 16 Plus.

The release date can easily be assumed. Just like the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro, the iPhone 17 Air would be unveiled during the back-to-school 2025 keynote in September, with a release planned one or two weeks later.

iPhone SE 4

He too has been awaited for a very long time. And for good reason, the iPhone SE is one of the most popular iPhone models. Its price has a lot to do with it, since it allows you to buy a functional phone for “barely” €529. Yes, for an iPhone it’s cheap.

This year’s model, which would be the fourth iPhone SE, would undergo a serious facelift. A design close to the iPhone 14 seems more than likely, with the move to Face ID and a notch to support the front camera. To reduce manufacturing costs, Apple would recycle the A18 chip from the iPhone 16 and upgrade to an in-house 5G chip, the company’s first.

If we hope that this model will not exceed the symbolic mark of €600, its release date is estimated for spring 2025, as Apple has been doing for almost nine years.

AirTags 2

It’s Apple’s successful little device. For €35, anyone who owns an iPhone or other device can get an AirTag and add it to their keys, wallet or suitcase to find it in the event of loss or theft. Since the official announcement in April 2021, the AirTag has never experienced a crisis, and the absence of a second model in Apple’s plans seems inconceivable.

The design would not change one iota. On the other hand, it is under the hood that the accessory would be improved since we would find the new U2 chip. This will significantly improve the precise detection range of AirTags 2 at close range as well as connectivity.

The scandals that marred the career of the first AirTags could be history with the second generation, since Apple is working on a better architecture to prevent someone from tampering with the tracker to harass someone.

iOS 19

For the moment, we know almost nothing about iOS 19. But given the chaotic launch of iOS 18, although announced as the most important update for the iPhone in years, Apple could not neglect the release of iOS 19. The list of compatible devices will also delight, since no iPhone since 2018 would be left on the sidelines.

In terms of new features, we predict a significant improvement in Apple Intelligence with features that would finally change the user experience. Finally, iOS 18 integrated ChatGPT into Siri, but iOS 19 should allow it to emancipate itself and become the real chatbot that we have been waiting for for years on the Cupertino side.

Unveiled at WWDC in June 2025, iOS 19 would be released in the wake of iPhone 17, at the end of September.

Apple 4K (4th generation)

Here too, few details have leaked regarding a potential new Apple TV 4K. The third generation of the Apple TV 4K nevertheless dates from 2022 and the rapid evolution of technologies would push Apple to revisit its copy with an updated model.

Apple would thus integrate a brand new chip combining WiFi and Bluetooth in order to reduce costs. It would even be imagined by Apple and designed by TSMC, the usual Taiwanese manufacturer of Apple. Regarding the release date, unfortunately we don’t know anything. If we base ourselves on Apple’s usual calendar, the latest model dates from October 2022, while the second generation was presented in April 2021. It is therefore difficult to make a prediction.
