Acer introduced its new Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller – a portable device to improve the gaming experience on smartphones. The controller is foldable, making it very convenient for gamers on the move. The Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller is compatible with the following Android and iOS devices up to 8.3 inches (21.08 cm) wide, including those with a protective case. Its adjustable handles can securely hold devices of different sizes, while the rubberized pads are present for a firm and comfortable grip during prolonged sessions. The controller also looks very durable from the images.

Connectivity is also seamless, with USB-C support for reliable input and low latency for a smooth gaming experience. The Nitro Controller also features an 18W fast charging feature, allowing users to keep their devices powered during marathon gaming sessions without long interruptions.

The setup includes dual joysticks, a D-pad, and responsive action buttons, all for the precision needed for a wide variety of gaming genres. Whether it’s racing games, first-person shooters, or casual mobile games, the Nitro controller should deliver precise and consistent input for an enjoyable gaming experience.

The Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller, scheduled to launch in late Q2 2025, will target gamers looking for a portable, rugged case for gaming on all devices. Pricing and other details are expected to be revealed closer to the official availability date.
