Niantic Labs has given the dates and locations of the next big events of Pokémon Go. One of the stages will take place in Paris, in June 2025. A great first.
If the community Pokémon currently only has eyes for Pokémon Pocketthe application which allows you to collect collectible cards and do some battles, Pokémon Go continues to excite fans around the world. The excitement around this application launched in 2017 is such that Niantic Labs still organizes physical festivals. The dates and locations for the 2025 edition of Pokémon Go Fest were announced in a press release published on January 6.
And, good news: there will be a stage in Paris, a first in the history of Pokémon Go Fest, the first edition of which dates from 2017 and took place in Chicago (a disaster at the time). The event will be held from June 13 to 15 in the French capital. It should bring together many fans of capturing creatures in the real world, thanks to the magic of augmented reality. Note that the coincidence could hardly be better: the future game Pokémonexpected on Switch (and Switch 2?) will take place in a city inspired by Paris.

Concretely, Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will be physically organized in three cities on as many continents: Osaka (from May 29 to June 1), Jersey City (from June 6 to 8) and, therefore, Paris (from June 13 to 15). It is still too early to detail the program of the festivities, but we can bet on exclusive rewards, with a ticket required to benefit from them.
This will be the first time that the Pokémon Go Fest will stop in Paris, but it will not be new in Europe. There have already been two visits to Germany (Dortmund in 2019 and Berlin in 2022), one to Spain (Madrid in 2024) and one to England (London in 2023). Countries like the United States (Chicago, several times, Seattle and New York) or Japan (Sapporo, Yokohama) have also been well served.
These festivals in the colors of Pokémon Go are unique moments to obtain rewards, but also meeting places. Success has often been achieved. In 2019, for the very first European edition, there were more than 85,000 participants, recalls this press release, with 400,000 kilometers traveled and 28,000,000 Pokémon caught, combined.
Other smaller events will take place in 2025: a circuit in Los Angeles (February 21 to 23), another in New Taipei (on the same dates), as well as a City Safari in Milan (March 29 and 30). . In short, globetrotters will still have excuses to travel.
