Bluebeam launches the new version of Revu
Bluebeam will present its powerful Revu 21 solution at Bau (Munich) and provide insight into innovations and functional improvements for 2025, in which AI has a more important role.

Bluebeam will present at Bau 2025 the latest version of Revu 21 which offers advanced AI-powered features, search preference and seamless access to learning materials. A powerful desktop solution, it allows users to score, measure and collaborate in real time with their team.

In its latest optimization (Revu 21), it gives a more important role to the Dynamic Fillen function, coupling it with other intelligent tools. Indispensable in project implementation, the latter allows you to quickly and precisely mark surfaces and shapes in a planning document. Another AI-powered highlight of Revu 21 is Auto Align, an exact drawing positioning feature for overlays and comparisons. It reduces the effort previously required for tedious and time-consuming manual alignment of plans for each revision, allowing users to compare the differences between two changes in the plan view that the solution provides. Comparing different versions has always been one of the most important functions of this improvement which helps reduce this task from two minutes per drawing, to 15 seconds. This solution is used by professionals in the sector more than five million times per year.
These improvements are the result of work carried out with users of these solutions through Bluebeam Labs, a cloud-based collaborative workspace that allows ideas and technologies to be demonstrated and validated before they are launched and made available to all. Bluebeam Cloud users are invited to shape the future of early concepts before they are integrated into production software. This digital space also offers interesting technical features. For example, 2D plans can be combined in a 3D space to view and navigate projects in a completely new way. More recently, Bluebeam’s latest AI-based innovations leverage other features such as visual identification, text recognition and bulk data processing, to increase construction project productivity.
Revu 21’s new built-in toolbox search and keyboard shortcuts for markup statuses make it easy to quickly find program features and options, without interrupting parallel workflows. Bluebeam also added a much-requested option for dark mode. This option allows users to reduce eye strain and brightness when viewing PDF files by easily switching between light and dark mode. Additionally, users can now simply access all Bluebeam University training resources by logging in with the same Bluebeam ID (BBID) they use for Revu and Bluebeam Cloud.

All elements of a project can be easily accessed from the web browser of any mobile device, without any software being installed for this. For the project team, this workflow capability means a significant acceleration of their own processes and greater flexibility on the way to highly efficient collaboration in the planning and construction phase.
