Aqara unveils lots of devices, including a touch screen that hangs on the wall.
The Cupertino giant is reportedly preparing a home automation control screen for 2025, an iPad as a central hub for the connected home.
And there you have it, the specialist Aqara unveils at CES 2025 a complete range of home automation control solutions, featuring three touch screen controllers including the Panel Hub S1 Plus, a 7-inch screen intended to replace traditional buttons.
A smart wall tablet
The Panel Hub S1 Plus is the most interesting product. This 6.9-inch touch screen offers a definition of 1440 x 720 pixels and is installed in place of a standard switch.
Dual-band Wi-Fi compatible, it can control two lighting circuits and serves as a Zigbee hub for the Aqara ecosystem. Its Matter compatibility also allows you to control other connected devices.
A new generation dial
The Touchscreen Dial V1 innovates with its compact design reminiscent of the Nest thermostat. Its 1.32-inch touch screen is accompanied by a rotating ring allowing precise control of lighting, heating or blinds.
It integrates temperature, humidity and presence sensors.
The tactile and physical hybrid
The Switch S100 combines two physical buttons with a 1.3-inch touchscreen. Thread and Matter compatible, it acts as an edge router for the connected ecosystem. This hybrid approach offers a smooth transition to all-touch.
The Panel Hub and Dial V1 will be marketed in Europe from January 2025. The release schedule for the Switch S100 has not yet been specified. This new range also comes with H2 connected switches, an M100 hub and environmental sensors.
