Designed to meet the needs of golfers of all levels, SRIXON® announces the launch of its highly anticipated ninth generation of Z-STAR Series golf balls. The latest range of Z-STAR Series golf balls have been designed to deliver even more powerful punch, with longer distance and more optimized control around the greens.
Pure Performance
One of the highlights of the new Z-STAR series is its premium extra-thin urethane coating, made from biomass. This innovative coating is specially designed to withstand all conditions encountered on the course, ensuring that each model in the Z-STAR Series maintains its tour-level performance for the duration of play.
Alongside the new biomass coating, the Z-STAR series also features a Spin Skin+ coating. This thin layer of special urethane increases the friction of the coating, which improves approach shots and greenside spin. Additionally, the use of a tougher urethane paint for this generation helps improve dirt resistance, giving players greater spin control and greater versatility around the greens.
Core Evolution
The new FastLayer DG Core 2.0 formula, consisting of three unique formulas, is at the heart of the Z-STAR series. This core, which starts soft in the center and gradually firms from the inside out, guarantees optimal spin and distance at impact, while providing Srixon’s signature touch.
FastLayer DG Core 2.0 also allows for optimal core scaling for each model, making different ball options even more distinguishable. The Z-STAR model, with reduced compression in the center of its already soft core, minimizes driver spin for increased distance, a softer feel and better spin at the edge of greens. The Z-STAR XV features greater firmness in the core, and increases ball speed for greater distance and better spin on iron shots. Finally, the Z-STAR DIAMOND, with its slightly firmer core and reduced compression, minimizes driver spin, resulting in exceptional distance off the tee while maintaining excellent control around the green.
Z-STAR DIVIDE
The Z-STAR series also includes the Z-STAR DIVIDE model. Providing unrivaled visibility on the course, these balls’ distinctive two-tone design, known as 50/50 Visual Performance, allows golfers to view the game from a whole new perspective.

Despite their unique color, the DIVIDE ball incorporates the same feel, speed and distance technologies as the Z-STAR model.
