Nintendo continues to cultivate mystery around its next console, but leaks don't take a vacation. After months of rumors and speculation, two new images showcasing the Switch 2's alleged Joy-Con have surfaced on social media, along with the first unofficially announced game.

The first real images of the new Switchh 2 Joy-Cons have appeared online on Chinese social media. Their exact source remains unknown, but everything suggests that they come from a factory in China, which is currently producing Nintendo's next console.
These new Joy-Cons are larger than those on the Nintendo Switch and the very good news is that the SR and SL buttons also seem much larger and should be much more pleasant and convenient to use.
Last December, the complete design of the Switch 2 was revealed while certain manufacturers receive information in advance in order to prepare their products.
The first Swith 2 game on the run
Finally, we already know almost entirely about the Switch 2 even though the new console has not yet been announced by Nintendo, which certainly wanted to take advantage of the holidays to sell its Switch stock and not slow down sales.
It is now the line-up of the new console that is expected, and everything suggests that a first game has been discovered: Gotham Knights. This information was found and shared by YouTuber Doctre81, who found a resume in which a developer claims to have worked until 2023 on a version of Gotham Knights for an “unannounced platform.”
Although the game has been rated for the current Nintendo Switch by the ESRB, it is quite possible that this port will eventually arrive on the Switch 2 given the performance issues that were raised when the game was released on the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.
Gotham Knights tells the story of a criminal underworld that has invaded the streets of Gotham City when Batman is no longer in this world. It is up to the Batman Family (Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin) to defend Gotham, restore hope to its citizens, discipline its police officers and instill fear in its criminals.
Officially, Nintendo must announce its new console by March 2025.
