Xiaomi confirms global launch of new 165W power bank with integrated cable

Xiaomi is expected to launch the 165W Power Bank 10000 (built-in cable) globally this month. The accessory arrived in China in September and there was speculation that it could launch internationally in the future.

The Xiaomi 165W Power Bank has now been mentioned as part of an event for the Redmi Note 14 smartphone series which will take place on January 10. A page on the brand’s global website suggests that this wearable will also be showcased at the conference, alongside the Redmi Buds 6 Pro and Redmi Watch 5.

As its name suggests, the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank has a capacity of 10,000mAh, enough to charge an iPhone 15 Pro Max 1.75 times or a Xiaomi 14 Pro 1.8 times. There is a built-in USB-C cable and a USB-C port, allowing you to charge two devices simultaneously with support for fast charging protocols including PD 3.0, PPS and QC 3.0. The maximum power of a single port is 120W; when charging two gadgets, the second port is limited to 45W, giving a total power of 165W. The device charges via a 90W USB-C input, reaching a 55% charge in 15 minutes. Additionally, you can view the remaining battery level and charging status on the built-in color display.

It remains to be seen precisely when the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10000 (Integrated Cable) will go on sale and in which countries. As for the price, the accessory retails for 199 CNY (~$27) in China. If released in the United States, it will compete with devices such as the Anker Prime 12000mAh Power Bank (130W), which is currently priced at $89.99 on Amazon.
