The OnePlus 13 almost equals this tenor of the 2024 photo

A YouTuber got his hands on a OnePlus 13 and puts it up against its big brother, the Oppo Find X8 Pro.

The OnePlus 13 should be presented to us on January 7. We already know everything about him, all we need is his price and his release date.

TechTablets got its hands on a Chinese model and in its test pitted it against the Find X8 Pro. A smart idea since the two devices share a lot in common.

It’s quite simple, the photo configuration of the OnePlus 13 is the same as that of the Oppo model, minus the x6 telephoto lens.

  • Sony LYT-808 50 MP : capteur 1/1,4″, f/1,6, OIS, 23 mm, PDAF, Laser AF, 4K30 et 4K60 HDR Dolby Vision
  • Samsung ISOCELL JN5 50 MP : sensor 1/2.76”, f/2.0, 15 mm, 120°, PDAF, 4K30 and 4K60 HDR Dolby Vision
  • Sony LYT-600 50 MP : 1/1.95” sensor, f/2.65, 3x optical zoom, 73mm, OIS, PDAF, 4K30 and 4K60 HDR Dolby Vision

Very close renderings

Also, we are not surprised to have essentially the same results on the two smartphones. Software processing may possibly differ, but it is very slight. The two share the Hasselblad focal lengths, the Xpan mode and the fast shutter algorithm. In short, they are almost carbon copies.

Only telephoto shots will benefit the Find X8 Pro, which benefits from a wider optical zoom range.

And this bodes well for the OnePlus 13 since we particularly appreciated the rendering of the Find X8 Pro. The OnePlus model is often less expensive, which would make it a very good challenger in its segment.
