We are well past the era of rumors and speculation and have entered the era of leaks. While nothing will be confirmed until Nintendo officially speaks out, it’s becoming difficult to question some of the information currently being released. And it looks like we could learn even more in less than a week.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025which begins on January 7, will welcome the Genki brand, well known for its successful accessories for the Nintendo Switch. Genki, true to its commitment to Nintendo, seems ready to fully embrace the Japanese firm’s next hardware. Indeed, the company also plans to talk about the Switch 2 during this event.
A conference not to be missed
Genki will hold a media briefing on the morning of January 7 for CES 2025 attendees. At this conference, the brand will not only present its recent crowdfunding successes, but also provide insight into its future projects. Even more intriguing, Genki said it would be “glad to discuss any Switch 2 information” it has, including accessories it is developing specifically for this new console.
Nintendo: an imminent announcement?
With this statement, it appears Nintendo is just days away from officially revealing the first details about the Switch 2. The question remains: will Nintendo announce the console before Genki’s announcements next week, or will it let once again an accessories manufacturer gets ahead of “Big N” by revealing crucial information?
