Thursday, December 19, the Saint-Astier de Catus nursing home celebrated Christmas with the residents, their families, who came in large numbers, and the staff. Everyone gathered for the occasion in the restaurant room nicely decorated by the residents, but also by the children of the municipal council who had come the day before to make pretty wooden hearts.
A very beautiful show was offered by Albert and Lorian forming the duo “Y’a d’la voix”, who alternated songs from yesterday and today, music with guitars and saxophone, but also a lot of humor , to joyfully liven up the afternoon, for the greatest pleasure of all. The show ended with the host distributing gifts to the residents, who were all offered pretty boxes.
Finally, all these beautiful people headed towards the two buffets that had been set up, offering a choice of: sweet, savory, chocolate, mulled wine and cakes. Bravo to the cooks. It was a very pleasant moment of joy and sharing, and warm exchanges between the residents, their families and the staff.
But all was not over… The next day, the residents again had the pleasure of welcoming the children from the nursery school who came to sing for them; they were well rewarded with a good snack.
