Additionally, there has been talk of the company possibly introducing a pair of foldable Galaxy Z Flips as well. Based on previous rumors, it appears that Samsung intends to expand the Galaxy Z Flip series with a Fan Edition (FE) model.
However, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE model could be equipped with Samsung Exynos 2400 Samsung Exynos 2400 to reduce costs. Incidentally, the same fate could befall the Galaxy Z Flip7, the details of which we covered separately. While similar rumors emerged last year ahead of the Galaxy Z Flip6’s launch, more reliable leaks have now thrown their weight behind whether such a device actually exists.
To that end, Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) says those looking forward to a potentially cheaper Galaxy Z Flip “should be excited.” The first FE case is expected to arrive next year as part of Samsung’s seventh generation. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE will launch simultaneously and how Samsung will differentiate them in areas other than their chips.
