The Galaxy A contains some of the most popular Android mid-range devices, thanks in part to their ability to resemble the more premium S series smartphones, with a relatively clean triple rear camera and screens with a good chance of being AMOLED type across the entire range.

Still, their wired charging speeds have been held back generationally by Samsung’s older, slower 25W-style technology, even in current models of the A55 5G line (currently available for $299.99 on Amazon).

This drawback could finally be a thing of the past with its next successor, however, the latter has been registered with the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (IMO). It was reportedly registered with the Chinese Quality Certification Center https://www.ithome.com/0/811/608.htm under the name SM-A5660 (which could well be the Chinese version of the Galaxy A56 5G) with the ability to charge up to 10 volts (V) and 4.5 amps (A).

So it looks like the Galaxy A56 might just be the first device in its lineup to launch as Samsung’s Super Fast Charging.
