Like every episode, Farming Simulator 25 will introduce new fields with their regional specificities, and Giants Software is particularly looking east. Because in addition to the great North American plain and the traditional paradise of Central Europe, this episode will focus on Asia and its rice fields. New varieties of rice, spinach and other local plants will be available for a total of twenty new strains, with water buffalo and associated critters to swell the livestock ranks. Further gameplay adjustments will be introduced to suit the particular structure of the rice fields.

This journey east comes with a new graphics engine, GIANTS Engine 10, designed to be modding friendly. “Distant mists, chiseled shadows, dynamic weather, ground deformation and more will make your farming life even more immersive.“, boasts the official press release. As for agricultural machines, more than 400 brand vehicles will be available with Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland and Valtra to name only the biggest companies.
Finally, Farming Simulator 25 will have a season pass since we live in 2024 and absolutely all big productions must provide post-launch content. Each quarter will have its new paid feature alongside regular updates. In the first trimester, “innovative machines“; in the second quarter, content focused on the plains and meadows; finally in the third quarter, something related to the alignment of the stars. 2025 will conclude with a new map on the edge of the lake.
Farming Simulator 25 will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series on November 12.
