The ratings around the Elden Ring DLC are in and the specialist press is unanimous: it is grandiose! Expect to suffer, the enemies in this expansion will be a real purge according to Miyazaki, the game’s creator.

Finally ! The Shardless of Mid-Earth can now travel to the Realm of Shadows, the new area in Shadow of The Erdtree, the Elden Ring DLC. Available since Friday June 21, everyone has been impatiently awaiting the release of the Game of the Year 2022 expansion. The wait was rewarded and many prepared for its arrival. If you think you’re ready enough, know that you might be surprised. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the game’s director, announced in an interview with CNET that some of the bosses might be more complicated than they appear.

Some bosses are necessary for the character’s progress in the story, but others are not. Those that aren’t particularly difficult at first glance could actually be a real challenge for players, or even real obstacles.
Yes, tearing your hair out in the face of a difficult boss is part of the charm of Elden Ring. Be aware, however, that if you are prepared enough (a nod to hardcore gamers), the enemies you will face should not pose so many problems for you. But for newcomers who are just starting their adventure in the Mid-Earth, they might have a little more difficulty.
He dethrones number one
While the excellent Shadow of the Erdtree hadn’t even been released yet, the DLC had already broken a record! This is the highest rating given by Metacritic for additional content. Previously, it was the very good Blood and Wine from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which held first position. With a score of 95 for the PS5 version, the Kingdom of Shadows promises an adventure rich in content and story!
Let’s also not forget that veterans of the game embarked on a campaign to help novice players. The reason for this? You must have defeated General Radhan and Mohg the Blood Lord to have access to the new Shadow of the Erdtree zone. The latter waited in front of the boss arenas, to offer their services to defeat them. A magnificent demonstration of mutual aid which must have allowed more than one Shineless to defeat these terrible enemies.
