Conor McGregor, star UFC MMA fighter, is starring in new additional content for the game Hitman III, renamed Hitman World of Assassination, as revealed this Thursday by IO Interactive.
Failing to see him fight, this Saturday at UFC 303, fans will be able to play with Conor McGregor in a video game. This Thursday, game developer IO Interactive deployed a new mission for Agent 47, the famous character from Hitman World of Assassination, with the main enemy being the “Disruptor” in the likeness and voice of the Irish fighter.
“The Age of Disruptor has arrived! I had a lot of fun creating this character and bringing him to life. I can’t wait to see players try to take him on. Agent 47 is on his way to the fight of his life,” Conor McGregor said in a press release.
“We are beyond excited to have Conor in Hitman World of Assassination. Players will truly enjoy this new mission that brings together all the best of Hitman World of Assassination combined with the raw charisma and energy of one of the world’s most successful athletes. I can’t wait to see our players dive into this new mission and love what the team has created,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive.
“The Notorious” was also scheduled to return to competition this Saturday at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler. Ultimately, he had to withdraw due to injury. Aged 35, Conor McGregor has not fought for two years.
