Leaker @smashx_60 has shared details about a second HMD-branded tablet that the company has in development. A few days ago, the same account gave a first look at another option that HMD Global seemed to want to offer under the name of HMD Slate Tab 5G with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and a 10.6-inch screen. Like the HMD Skyline, the HMD Slate Tab 5G will also feature a Nokia Lumia-inspired design, the full details of which we have covered in a separate article.

In contrast, the HMD Tab Lite looks like many other modern Android tablets thanks to its rounded edges and asymmetrical edges. From the image below, the HMD Tab Lite has an 8.7-inch screen, making it only slightly larger than the aging iPad mini 6 ($359 currently – renewed at Amazon). For reference, the display is expected to be an IPS panel of just 1,340 x 800 pixels with a peak brightness of 560 nits.

In addition, HMD Global would have equipped the tablet with a Unisoc Tiger T610 IPS screen as well as a meager 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage and a 5,500 mAh battery. supporting 18W wired charging. Additionally, @smashx_60 claims that the tablet has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Currently, HMD Global has reportedly set the price of the HMD Tab Lite at 149 euros with 4G connectivity. Although the release date remains unknown at this time, @smashx_60 adds that there will be black, blue, and pink color options at launch.
