The few drops of rain which had tried to appear at the start of the evening did not dampen the good humor nor the good vibes distilled on the different stages on Saturday evening in Dudelange. If the summer atmosphere was not there, the crowd had taken over the streets of Dudelange for the unmissable event of the Fête de la Musique.

A favorite of programmer John Rech, Jack Curley created an intimate atmosphere on the Planet Stage. The Mancunian offered a
folk acoustic guitar, with a captivating voice. Back at the FDLM in Dudelange, after the success of last year, ClockClock took over the main stage at the start of the evening. Made up of six musicians, the Mannheim band delighted the spectators, who sang their hits in chorus, like “Someone Else”.

Also familiar with Dudelange, where he came to perform as part of Zeltik, the group Celkilt set the Planet Stage on fire. The French Celtic punk band defied the “shyness” of the public and initiated a big Breton dance on Nelson Mandela Square.

As the evening progressed, the streets were more and more crowded, and good humor was evident. German pop star, Michael Schulte took his place on the big stage. Jets of streamers accompanied his rhythmic and energetic pop, like his hit “Back to the Start”. Back from his international tour, the sensation Francis of Delirium resounded his indie-rock riffs in the night of Dudelange. The evening continued after midnight, with rap and electro on the menu. Enough to celebrate music in all its diversity.
