The 2024 edition of Summer Game Fest, broadcast on June 7 live from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, left players wanting more. The event promised to reveal the future of video games; Above all, it was an opportunity to repeat the present, with many known licenses and new images of games already presented (but not yet released). On stage, the master of ceremonies was none other than Canadian host and producer Geoff Keighley. The one who still describes himself as a journalist, despite his role as an organizer of events amounting to celebrating advertisements presented on the big screen, began his television career in 1994. Since then, he has juggled between the small screen and the internet; now realizing his dream of organizing prestigious evenings like the Summer Game Fest, or his other baby, the Game Awards, which are to video games what the Oscars are to cinema.
